Situation
The client already had an existing site but wanted to update it for the times to better reach patients. They approached the team in hopes of getting a better website to facilitate getting new patients.
Challenges
The content from the old site needed to be transferred to a new website because the old site’s architecture was too outdated to be used. The transfer process took time because it had to be done meticulously. The team had to make sure the new website did not have codes that could conflict with the new site build. Time management was essential to facilitate an error-free transfer.
Solution
The team carefully transferred the old content to the new site to ensure all of the client’s content was present on the new site. A new site had to be built from WordPress to accommodate the Divi to modernize the site. Using WordPress prevents conflicts with the Divi to ensure a fully functional site. Some of the graphics were changed to modernize the look of the site. New buttons were made to create a distinct yet eye-catching part of the site. The text was also placed strategically to help visitors find what they need at a glance.
Outcome
Element IV’s website was modernized by creating a new website that the client absolutely loved. All the required plugins to make navigation and design pleasing to the eye and functional were installed. The team double-checked the codes to ensure no conflicts would arise from the site. All the content from the old site was transferred to the new one to create a modern website that keeps the identity of the old one intact.
